In case the capacity of a craft mill is limited by the evaporator or recovery boiler performance, a modernization or retrofit of the black liquor evaporator can eliminate the bottleneck.
The starting point is always a thorough analysis of the existing operating data and equipment. With the help of our simulation program and operating data we first calculate the actual heat transfer co-efficient for each piece of equipment and then make a proposal for larger throughput and higher dry substance in the concentrate.
