Our multi-stage air heater offers several advantages to drying lines in the pulp industry. Since vapors of different pressures can be processed in the same device, the number of heaters can be reduced. In addition, our device, among other things, minimizes the risk of darkening of the fibers and enables the utilization of lower-pressure steams.
Our air heater is based on a vertical tube structure, where the circulating air flows downwards from the pipe side and the shell side is divided into two or three sections by tubeplates. The device can be equipped, for example, with an internal fiber cleaning system and many other individual special solutions.
Although our core competencies are equipment and process design, if necessary, we can handle the project as a turnkey delivery. We are happy to tell you more about the options.
One heater instead of two or three
Fibers can only settle on the coldest upper tube plate
Low pressure loss
Enables the use of lower pressure vapors
Implementations that have increased production efficiency in Finland and around the world.
